Description:
The Awarding Authority seeks tenders from suitable companies or individuals to provide weekly cleaning services in the specified location. Introduction Relatives for Justice is a non-profit organisation, founded in April 1991. The beneficiaries of our work are individuals who have been directly bereaved and/or injured as a result of conflict related actions.
Scope of Contract:
Relatives for Justice require a Cleaner for our two Belfast offices, located on the Glen Road and Brompton Park. Glen Road is a large 2 floor office space with 3 main working areas that includes separate office spaces, 3 bathrooms and 2 kitchen areas. Brompton Park is a ground floor office, made up 5 smaller office spaces, 1 bathroom and kitchen facilities.
A total of 2 hours, twice per week for each office is required, totalling 8 hours per week for both sites. Days and times allocated to each office are negotiable. The successful tender must ensure they follow all health and safety regulations and are able to work on their own to organise their time and workload and ensure completion of the weekly cleaning schedule.

Responsibilities include:
Vacuuming all floors
Sweeping and mopping all floors and stairways.
Cleaning and dusting desk areas and separate office spaces.
Cleaning and restocking all bathrooms.
Cleaning kitchen areas including washing dishes and tidying countertops.
Empty all bins and recycling boxes.
Cleaning inside of windows.
Wash kitchen towels, floor rags and dusters.
Refilling and restocking cleaning supplies.
Notify management of any repairs needed.
The length of the contract will be 8 hrs per week for an initial period of 12 months, with the option to extend by two further one-year periods.
The contract will be awarded based on the most economically advantageous proposal applying the following selection and award criteria with allocated scoring percentages.

Cost charged at an hourly rate inclusive of VAT and any additional charges (80)

Quantitative Assessment
The following formula will be used to evaluate price/cost.
Lowest price tendered will be awarded the maximum score available (80)
To calculate the score for the remaining tendered price/s, the following formula will be applied. The lowest tendered price divided by the tenderer’s price (to the nearest £1) multiplied by 80.
