The Council has in place an existing contract for cleaning services at Corporate Properties across the county. This includes Offices, Day Care Centres, Libraries, Archives, Depot’s etc. This will now be re-procured. At present there are approx. 70 properties within the existing contract however, this number may reduce over the next three years as the Council continues its programme of consolidation of assets.

The value provided in
Section II.1.5 is only an estimate.
The contract term is a maximum of 4 years, this is based on an initial 2 year term plus 2 optional extension of up to 12 months.
There is an obligation within this contract for the Service Provider to pay Service Provider Staff engaged in the delivery of the Services the Real Living Wage.
